Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Maintra mobile application ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Maintra is a vehicle maintenance tracking application that allows you to log service records, fuel fill-ups, and maintenance plans, and to generate AI-powered maintenance recommendations. The app is provided by Kyrylo Rozbeiko.

2. Account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for any activity under your account.
You may delete your account at any time. See How to delete your account.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Maintra offers optional paid subscriptions ("Pro" and "VIP") purchased through Google Play. By subscribing you agree to:

Be charged the displayed price by Google Play.
Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation through the Google Play Store, not through the app.
Refunds being handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.

Subscription tiers and their limits may change. Price changes will be communicated before they take effect and will not apply to the current billing period.

4. AI-generated content

Important: Maintenance plans, diagnostic suggestions, and chat responses generated by the AI are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional mechanical advice. AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. Always consult a qualified mechanic before performing or skipping any maintenance work. We are not liable for any damage, injury, or cost resulting from reliance on AI-generated suggestions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the app.
Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app's backend or other users' data.
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the service.
Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes someone else's rights.

6. Intellectual property

Maintra, including its name, logo, source code, and design, is the property of its developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Content you enter (your vehicles, your service history) remains yours — we only process it to provide the service.

7. Service availability

We strive to keep the app available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the app (including paid features) at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Maintra, its developer, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or vehicle damage) arising out of or relating to your use of the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and/or deleting your account.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
