Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Maintra account and all associated data at any time, directly from inside the app.
What gets deleted: your profile, all vehicles, service records, fuel logs, maintenance plans, AI chat history, and any free-text notes you've shared with the AI assistant. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from inside the app
- Open the Maintra app on your device.
- Go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the warning dialog, then confirm a second time on the final "Are you absolutely sure?" prompt.
Your account and all associated data will be erased immediately.
Can't access the app?
If you've uninstalled Maintra or can no longer sign in, email us at rokops13@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my Maintra account". We'll verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, we immediately and permanently remove the following from our database:
- Your profile (email, display name, preferences, subscription tier).
- All vehicles you've added, along with their make, model, VIN, license plate, mileage, and photos-of-record.
- All service records, fuel logs, and maintenance plan items.
- All AI chat conversations and vehicle notes.
- All receipt parse history.
- Your authentication record.
What is retained (and why)
- Encrypted backups. Routine database backups may contain copies of your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal course of operation.
- Billing records. If you purchased a Pro or VIP subscription, transaction records required for tax and accounting compliance are retained for the period required by applicable law (typically 5–7 years). These are stored by Google Play and/or RevenueCat and contain no vehicle data.
- Nothing else. No other personal data is retained.
Effect on active subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel or refund any active Pro or VIP subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and must be canceled in the Google Play Store. Existing entitlements will expire at the end of the current billing period. Contact Google Play Support for refund requests.
